Orquesta La Fiebre features some of Southern California's hottest musicians performing a vast repertoire of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bolero, Cha cha cha, Mambo, and Latin Jazz. The band was conceived by Sandie Castaneda, Sam Thompson, Matt Treadway, and John Lee in 2002 and has evolved into a true balance of cultures (Cuban, European, Japanese, Mexican) and candela! La Fiebre compliments any festive occasion and has performed at a myriad of venues including Stevens Steakhouse, Cafe Sevilla, Saffire, Sachi, The Cock N Bull Pub, Aventuras, and The Galaxy Theatre, where they had the privilege of opening for Gato Barbieri. Members of the group have shared the stage with Irakere, Roxing Cafe, Mezcla, Victor Manuelle, Grupo Niche, Mili Mili, Francisco Torres, Socamotion, Nu Pan Groove, and Badaue.
