This guy had been taking advantage of women, luring into his convenient locations and sexually forcing himself on them.
the ones that voluntarily started a "Relationship" with this guy, not only were they used for sex and to cater to him, ferrying him around, doing errands but eventually found themselves scammed of thousands of Dls that he would borrow for "expected emergencies" but never intending to pay back.
for the few times when women demanded to be repaid; He would only refuse to discuss the matter and avoid contact.
but after many years of such scams and rapes, it is all catching up with him.

People in the Salsa scene do not need this kind of Predators regardless of participation in the scene. Salsa is about a skill, sport, hobby making new friends from around the world and socializing in general NOT the predatory grounds for criminals utilizing their skill to accomplish their deeds.
Hopefully others with similar actions will heed the msg. as the Justice System makes this creep accountable.

Stacy, you have to let it go and stop paying attention to what people say about your brother. Regardless of what people say, he was found guilty, so in the eyes of everyone who's not family or friends, he's guilty. He'll do his time and will be out of jail soon enough to join his family. I recommend you stop trying to convince people that he's innocent because no one will believe you. Heck, I don't even know what to believe anymore. I don't think people are jealous because to be quite honest, there's nothing to be jealous of. At the time of his arrest, his net worth wasn't much.

Just stop fighting it. You'll never win the war of trying to restore his reputation. His reputation will be damaged for the rest of his life and it's very likely he'll have to register as a sex offender. That's reality! Just go on with your life and stop fighting a fight you just won't win.

And for those talking all that sh*t, you gotta stop. Leave the guy alone. He'll do his time. None of us are perfect and we have no right to judge. So quit that high school behavior and let this family have some peace!

to ``oh well`` i´m sure it´s oh well for you. i mean afterall you´re definitely not too much in favor of my brother. you made that quite noticible by saying that you don´t know what to believe about my brother´s situation. well, it´s not oh well to me because i know my brother´s innocent. you can say all you want that it´s not jealousy but it´s obvious that you´re weren´t a true friend of his. i do appreciate you asking people to give my family peace but as lomg as people come on here calling my brother a rapist which he´s not i will continue to defend him. and just because he was foud guilty which by the way he was found guilty with no evidence or proof of anything doesn´t mean he is. how many people go to jail being innocent. the jury is not God, they found my brother guilty out of the alleged victim´s words against his. that does not prove he´s guilty! thank you very much

God is great, i got a postcard from alex yesterday and he still sounds very positive but at the same time very hurt that people could be so cruel as to make up such lies to destroy someones life. but like he said, he will have his freedom. Hi Stacy, I feel your anger as well as disappointment.

I was a student of Alex back in the early 90's down in Mountain View, California / Bay Area (just South of San Francisco) as well as hired him for the Black & White Ball in San Francisco 1995.

Alex was always a gentleman....always kind...and always the focal point too. I am sure he had his fun with women and whom would not have had / done the same... he is a great / fun guy to be around... nothing wrong with that.

I despite the type women that throw themselves at guys and start playing games trying to Get something more for the fact that they were intimate with someone.

I don't want to sound sexist here....but it is in some way going to sound that way... so I ask you (not Stacy) but the other readers (women) that read this to please understand what I REALLY am saying here.

What I am saying is that many ...and I do mean MANY women think that since they are deciding to be intimate with a guy, they should have XYZ in return and then some... I like to call it a "modern day hooker" .... a person that expects MUCH more than just respect in return...they expect Money and property and.... the list goes on.... this holds especially true for American women...but I tell you one thing... Foreign women "learn really fast" once they come over here... How "The Dating Game" is played...

....and it is an UGLY game.

I can totally see how Alex could have fallen in that trap...

He is / was fun, Engaging, charming, an Awesome dancer and instructor and I saw up close how women would make passes at him and even try to seduce him.

Was he not reciprocating? yes he was... but whom would have not reciprocated / responded in a positive way to that... the problem would start when The GAMES would have started...and the ULTERIOR motives would have kicked in...

...and I could so easily see how a woman would have become Bitter if she did not GET ALL OF HIM...meaning, Get the Respect that THEY THOUGHT that they should have gotten... and then if they did not get that... they would go for "Whatever they Could Legally".

...and I guess that is what you see the Aftermath of now.

I feel for you Stacy... I really do... I hope he is going to appeal and hopefully we will see another ending to this.

Stacy, I'm neither in favor nor against your brother. I wasn't there when he allegedly did what he did. So you can't blame me for not being in his favor. I understand that your biased, after all it is your brother and I wouldn't expect anything less. All I'm trying to say is that you're feeding a fire that's already out of control. You or your brother gain nothing out of you arguing with people because you're not going to change their perception of your brother. What you should do is focus on your life, finding closure, and waiting for him to be out and try to have a normal life. After all, as much as you say you know your brother, you also weren't there in his house when those women were. To you, it should be enought that YOU believe he's innocent. What others believe, especially those that don't know him, really shouldn't matter.

Lastly, yes. To me it's "oh well" because anyone convicted of rape should spend the rest of their life in jail. Because I wasn't there, I have to believe that he did it since he was found guilty. I hope you understand.

for you oh well, it should be oh well for you because you don´t know my brother. and like you said you weren´t there so you shouldn´t even have an opinion since you look at it that way. but you think what you want. and my brother´s life is my life so i´m going to continue defending him on these pages. as long as there are people like you saying that because he was convicted makes you believe he´s guilty then i´m going to continue to defend him. that´s just really not fair because he was convicted with no evidence and being famous that´s what happens. there are alot of envious people out there like # 17,18,and 19.and alot more...

Stacy, I don't need to know your brother to have an opinion. I don't know OJ Simpson and I have an opinion of what he allegedly did. This is America, and people do have their opinion. You can continue to support your brother as much as you want. But remember, just like me, YOU WEREN'T THERE EITHER. There have been SOOOOO many incidents in which a family member commits a crime when his/her family come out saying that that's not the person they know. Your opinion about what happened is just that, a biased opinion from the sister of a convicted rapist. Your opinion is not more valid than mine. Sorry to break it to you. And shame on you for belittling what this man has put the victims through. You are blinded by the love of a sister. It really is a shame how he has manipulated you just as she did his victims.
