I know alex as far back as 1994 and I KNOW HE's GUILTY!!! When I first read the news report in 2009 I knew he was guilty because He still has the same Modus Operandi. Nothing has changed except he looks middle-age now.

He used all kinds of deception on women who really wanted to learn Salsa and get on the scene.
He took advantage of 2 of my personal friends besides other Salsa fans. but he was using them the same as he had used my friends. One of my friends who is from L.A. was raped in San Francisco when he invited her to go over the weekend. (before he moved to L.A.) He also swindled many many women out of "Borrowed" money but would never mention any thing afterwards.
Many women just don't want to get exposed, so they are not coming forward. Even the detectives said that All the stories were very similar even though the women did not know each other. So after several similar complaints they knew it had to be true. When he was released the first time, supporters were quick to point to his "innocence". However, the Detectives said that at that time they didn't have all their marbles together. but he was re-arrested bc Now they had plenty more evidence and accusers.
So, for those who want his trial to come now, I say he will probably be convicted. so it is better that he stays in the county jail as long as possible, (delay trial) that way when he gets sentenced he may only do half-time for good behavior and might get out on time-served. meaning: if he gets 4 years and he gets half time off then he does only 2 years. He's in there almost 2 years. so he may just get out, time served.
2.5 years is equal to 5sentence and so on. Anything rather than go to the BIG HOUSE. Where he will be the RAPED one first night there and then every night after that. the county jail will be like vacation then. I don't wish for him to go there, but I know he's guilty and the time already in jail might have taught him a lesson. After all He got away with it for a very long time. as I mentioned, I know him since the mid 90's and got away with it for a long time. Today's accusers are but the tip of the iceberg.

This guy had been taking advantage of women, luring into his convenient locations and sexually forcing himself on them.
the ones that voluntarily started a "Relationship" with this guy, not only were they used for sex and to cater to him, ferrying him around, doing errands but eventually found themselves scammed of thousands of Dls that he would borrow for "expected emergencies" but never intending to pay back.
for the few times when women demanded to be repaid; He would only refuse to discuss the matter and avoid contact.
but after many years of such scams and rapes, it is all catching up with him.

People in the Salsa scene do not need this kind of Predators regardless of participation in the scene. Salsa is about a skill, sport, hobby making new friends from around the world and socializing in general NOT the predatory grounds for criminals utilizing their skill to accomplish their deeds.
Hopefully others with similar actions will heed the msg. as the Justice System makes this creep accountable.

just because alex was convicted does not mean that he did it. first of all there was no proof and second of all how many times has jures convicted people and then found out later that the person was innocent? in my brother alex case is exactly that. it´s an absurd how the jury could convict someone without any evidence of anything. i hope the ones who found my brother alex guilty feel just like the lying ass accusers i hope they can´t sleep at night . and with God´s will the jurers that found him guilty and those lying ass accusres will get what they deserve because they ALL know they´re LYING!!!!

Ummmm... I was one of Alex's students... I was 11 when i started dancing with him as my coach. Stacy, Im not sure if you know me, but Alex took me under his wing and taught me so much. I havent danced in a while, and he was a very big part of my life (carrer wise). I dont know how, but I would love to some how visit him. I havent seen him since I was I believe 15? im 17 now. I havent even spoken to him. It kills me to see so many people accusing him and saying hurtful things. I know Alex is innocent. But there are way to many ignorant people out there to convince otherwise. Dont waste your time on such idiots. I know as much as you want to slap every one in the face for saying hurtful things, they arent worth it. Im not trying to be positive about the situation, but just, well im not quite sure. Im just trying to support Alex and his love ones I suppose. I miss him, and loved him as if he was my own dad, and Ive been trying to somehow visit him. Only God, Alex and the 4 girls know the truth. All I know that it affects family and I commend you Stacy for being there for your brother. God bless you and ask him to keep you safe and sane from this painful situation. I used to go out to night clubs with my younger female cousin, she literally spent every weekend at my house. She borrowed $15K from me and after I asked for my money back and had to take her to court..... she went on saying that I molested her. My family and friends knew that it was a hideous and horrible lie but I hurt me so bad. I despise that human being and learned hard lesson..... NEVER loan money. Well, INDEED karma will get the evil ones. That is what happened to Alex. He was raping and taking advantage of people since I met him back in 1994, in 1995 he took advantage of 2 of my friends. and he continued with others later on. He never stopped. He just thought he was too slick.
So KARMA finally caught with him.
I personally had a confrontation with him about what he did to my friends. but the dirty RAT instead of responding like a MAN he disregarded me, turned around and walked away. but never stopped his M.O.
Personally, I have nothing to fear of GOD or KARMA What I said is NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH!!!

I know I was personally a witness to his conduct and actions.
He FINALLY got what he deserves.

I Do not make false accusations against INNOCENT people. But I DO prosecute dirty corrupt and criminal people at all levels of society. So, I am saying it again. alex is NOT INNOCENT. He's guilty as hell and, in fact, it took TOO LONG for him to get his justice. but he finally did.

A lot of people here still say "he was such a nice person" "such a nice guy" "he would never do that" etc. etc. Bottom line the guy was a master bull-shitter!! who fooled everyone. but I knew the real alex. the only thing that surprised me was HOW LONG IT TOOK to finally bust him. bc I knew he was going to get it sooner or later.

Out of 10 years in the joint, w good behavior, He will do only five.
but he's already been there like 2 and a half. So, he's only got Half Done!! 2.5 years more and he'll be out.
I just hope he will learn his lesson. Unfortunately for him NOW he's going to the "big house" and no longer the "Kick-back" county jail.
